FAQ & Policies

  • Upon receiving full payment all in-stock items will be available to ship 3-5 business days from the date of purchase. Unless the item is specified as a “made to order” item, please allow the allotted time specified in each listing for the fabrication, completion & shipment of your item. Each product will specify if it’s in stock or a made-to-order item order. Please be sure to double-check and read each listing’s information.

All orders are shipped via USPS and will include a tracking number and carrier insurance. Please make sure to double-check all shipping addresses.

  • All international pieces will be shipped via USPS. Shipping time frames vary depending on the country and can potentially take up to 30 days or more depending on location. Due to the unpredictability of shipping internationally, I cannot be held responsible for any delays due to customs or import taxes that may apply. All items will be insured for the full amount. Due to shipping time frames, all international sales are final. I apologize for any inconvenience and if you have any questions before placing an order please feel free to e-mail me at alpenglowjewelryco@gmail.com

  • All jewelry items are intended to be a final sale. I put a lot of heart and soul into each piece and ultimately I want you to be happy with your jewelry! If there is an issue with an order/jewelry item, I will consider a return upon approval of the unworn/ in its original state jewelry piece within 3 days of receiving it. If the return is approved the buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs, and will not be refunded for the original shipping cost. If the returned item arrives damaged and/or is stolen/lost the sender is fully responsible for the item. Please fully read each item’s description, and double-check the length and width of pieces and finger sizes. If you have any questions about the listed items feel free to contact me directly! I’m always happy to answer any questions and create a smooth shopping experience for you.

Custom design pieces, international sales, and sale items are all final sales.

  • At the moment I am not offering wholesale. Thank you for your understanding. :)

  • To help ensure the longevity of your new jewelry piece I recommend storing your jewelry in a cool, dry place and removing jewelry for outdoor activities such as rock climbing, rafting, snowboarding/skiing and gardening. I recommend removing jewelry items while cleaning, swimming, hot springing and hot tubing as you don’t want to get material trapped in small crevices. And lastly, I recommend not sleeping in jewelry and removing rings while applying lotions and creams. A good rule of thumb: put jewelry on last after hairsprays, lotions and etc.

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish (or darken) from exposure to air, hot springs, and different climates. Jewelry polishing cloths or dips are a great way to clean your piece. However, please be advised some items are often oxidized to purposely darken the metal to bring out texture and detail. Polishing or dipping your piece in a jewelry cleaner can remove this oxidization.

Please consider gemstones while cleaning your piece(s). Not all stones are able to be dipped in jewelry cleaners or cleaned in ultrasonic cleaners.

Copper and brass will naturally patina over time. Copper will usually turn a darker brown or often green. Polishing cloths or homemade vinegar/lemon scrubs are usually a great way to clean the patina and may require frequent cleaning as opposed to sterling silver. Brass cleans amazingly well with toothpaste (yes, toothpaste!)! And copper cleans well from a salt and white vinegar scrub if you’re interested in trying out DIY jewelry cleaning methods. Please be mindful of stones while cleaning your piece.

14k gold-filled pieces can naturally tarnish over time. There is no guarantee this will or won’t happen, however, luster and shine can usually be retained by using jewelry polishing cloths or mild soap and water to clean the piece.
